SOUNDPROOFING

Soundproofing is a means of lessening sound pressure from a specified sound source. Several approaches to sound proofing can be taken. At Flexshield our expert sound control consultants will consider all or some if the following applications:

Soundproofing Insulation

Limiting the amount of noise that can penetrate from an area into another can be achieved by sound proof insulation being applied. Flexshield uses a variety sound insulation materials and techniques depending on the source of the noise.

Soundproofing Material

Ceilings can be soundproofed with the installation of baffles placed above noisy equipment and machinery, reducing the "spill" of noise out into the surrounding area considerably. Specially developed sound proofing material s can be constructed to form a room or a screen; louvres can be constructed out of soundproof material allowing airflow to equipment as well as reducing the level of sound emitted to surrounding areas.

Soundproofing Foam

Sound proof foam comes in a variety of different types. Acoustic Rockwool Foams are comprised of volcanic rock fibres as well as other sound proofing material compacted to create a robust composite.

Other acoustic foams are more flexible and lightweight and are able to be installed into areas requiring the soundproofing to wrap around or into a piece of equipment.

Soundproofing Room

Acoustic Enclosures from our Sonic System, which comprise of lightweight panels are readily put together to form enclosures or a complete sound proof room, to provide a solution not only effective in reducing the problem of noise, but also versatile and easily moved if changes in layout are required.

Soundproofing Curtains

Soundproof curtains are very often a solution to enclosing noisy machinery and equipment requiring easy access for servicing or operator attendance. Flexshield Sound Stop curtains provide a flexibility that allows a myriad of applications both indoors and out.

Soundproofing Panels

Mobile sound proofing panels are a simple and efficient method of managing a low noise problem. Sound proof panels can be moved around a work area to shield noise created by hammering, air tools and many other noise sources. They are easily stored away when not required.

Soundproofing Doors

Flexshield sound proofing doors are fully fitted with panic bars, peep holes and other features where required. Soundproofing door assemblies are designed from heavy duty materials to provide long service and are paint finished in our factory, from a selection of colours.
