Acoustic Baffles
Acoustic Rockwool Foams
Semi-rigid panels of volcanic rock fibres, covered by a nonwoven anti — de fibre surfacing mat, approximately 0.4 mm thick, ensuring resistance to shredding and offering an agreeable flat appearance. This mat also stops the Acoustic Rockwool from disintegrating when exposed to air force.
Reverse side coated with a surfacing mat that provides increased mechanical strength during handling and increased resistance over time, greatly facilitating their handling and enhancing safety.
This high-density panel is the most widely used acoustic panel with the best performance/cost ratio. Its non-combustible sound absorbent qualities distinguish it from acustic foams and acoustic felts.
It is also the ideal basic non-shredding absorbent material for use behind perforated sheet or expanded metal.
Acoustic Foams and Mass Dampers
- Reduction of impact noise from contact of parts on sheet metal, metal housings, loading chutes, hoppers, conveyers, crushers, etc.
- Dissipation of vibratory energy in metal structures such as hoods, machine housings, ducts, pellet conveying tubes, ventilation ducts, etc.
- Reinforcement of the sound insulation of a partition by eliminating the insulation losses of a sheet at its coincidence frequencies.
- Increase in the insulation of a partition by its own means by increasing the mass effect of the partition. For example: machine hoods, sound attenuating partition-walls, etc.
- Soundproofing of all types of metal objects, such as stainless worktables, metal trolleys, metal desks and cabinets, panel beating etc.
- Acoustic backing for partition-walls.
Acoustic Baffles
Ceiling treatment with the addition of baffles located above the most blatant noise sources makes it possible to bypass constraints imposed by machine enclosures while providing exceptional acoustic results: 12 to 18 dB from 3 to 5 m from the source.
