2400 & 3000 Series Mounting Options

Flexible PVC doors are often referrred to as crash doors and this is exactly what they are subjected to. A door is only as robust as its mounting and support. Flexshield has two proven mounting methods that provide industry leading strength.

Jamb Mounting Plate

The Jamb Mounting Plate is the original Flexshield door mounting method. The plate is structural aluminium and can mount onto almost any sound opening that has a jamb width of 75mm or greater. The bearings are premounted in our factory for a simple and easy installation.

4000 Series Mounting Options

Some openings may not have the strength to withstand the mounting of heavy duty doors. For example plasterboard and steel stud or 50mm thick coldroom panel. These types of openings most likely will require 4000 Series Frames.

This frame is an anodised aluminium surround that mounts internally in the door opening (can be used externally) and creates a structurally sound framework.

The frame is fixed to the floor and inserts into standard trim channel. The bearings are premounted in the factory meaning installation is a simple procedure.
